i was wondering that when you relocate the iat sensor what you use to plug up the stock location? its a 1/4" bolt right? just any bolt or what, and how long does it have to be? i would get an iat adjuster, but its not available for me, so i have to make due with what i can.
thanks
steve

Bernds IAT adjuster works better. But I think it is a 3/8" pipe plug not sure though.

It's a 1/4" NPT Pipe Plug that you'll need for the factory IAT sensor hole in the manifold.

A new IAT sensor is only a few $ from what I understand. I have heard people here and elsewhere say they just leave the old sensor in place, remove wires and hook up the newly purchased sensor elsewhere. Anyway, a thought..

I just got my IAT adjuster today from Speed Tweaks and have not yet had a chance to look at the instructions/parts. I would hope that the kit comes with all necessary installation parts.....

I'm using a Jet 1 chip. Should/must I remove it to use the IAT?

Thanks

Bill

I just installed my IAT adjuster. Thanks Speedtweaks. It arrived 3 business days after the order. It is too cold now to noice any power gains but I can't wait until mid day. Installation isn't too hard, just take your time.

Kevin
