Hey bernd Im guessing you know your shi#. So I will ask you this question. You heard of this Python Package. I have all the intake,hood,exaust and upgraded Pcm. You say the pcm is 2000 not 2001. Anyway my question with all these mods will getting an aftermarket TB give me exta H.P. or better gas milage. Either one is good. I just want to know what Im getting and which TB is better and why? Long question huh?? Thanks
P.S. are those Autolite 3293's worth getting?

You can't swap out PCM's that easliy on different production years. If they do that, they're violating federal emissions laws. Installing an aftermarket TB does increase performance since the air flow has been "corrected". (Not as restricted.) As for the plugs, it's still mixed feelings...some 4.7 owners have seen better performance with them, other have seen better performance with the +4's. Hard to say which one would be best for the 4.7L. (Trial and error on that one.)
