Message: I have a 97 5.2 4x4 with k&N Gen II, flowmaster single catback, 50mm flometrics throttle body, 180 thermo, taylor wires and autolites. Do you think i could beat a civic or integra that both have just an AEN Intake. My friends have those and they think it would waist my truck because they think trucks are slow.I jut want to make sure i can beat them to prove them wrong.

Message: 5-speed, or auto?? Makes a big difference. WIth the truck being a 4x4, if it's an auto, I doubt you woudl win. If it's a 5-speed, it woudl be a good race.

Message: It also depends on the civic/integra. I have a '98 5.2 4x4 CC with K&N cold air, Cat back exhaust, and a 180 t stat. I raced some fool in a 4 door integra that was lowered and had exhaust and probably and intake, it was also a 5 speed because when we left the line he double clutched it to get some speed. ANYWAYS, I worked the guy. My friend has a GSR integra that is stock, and I don't stand a chance. So, it depends on the car/driver/transmission. Give it a shot, if you can't beat them on the street, take it off road :)
