When I go out to start my 2000 Dakota it sounds good for about 20 seconds and then it starts to jerk and tries to die. It has died a couple of times, but it usually just acts like dying then it revs up and is ok. What could be the problem?

It's too scared to leave the driveway for fear of running into me! LOL! My truck idles low sometimes too. Not sure what the problem is.

Most idle issues have to do with a dirty throttle body and IAC motor remove the throttle body and clean it and the IAC might help.
