Message: I have a 2001 quad cab 4.7 4x4 and was thinking about getting a single swept side stainless steel exhaust from speedtweaks. I was wondering first of all whether anyone has put this on a quad cab and what hp / mileage gains can be expected and secondly whether i can keep my spare where it is. Any help would be appreciated.

Message: I'm sure you can leave the spare with all swept side exhaust. I just had a custom bent system installed on my quad cab with a flo-pro muffler and dual pipes out the back. My spare is still intact. A custom bent system at a muffler shop allows you to get the pipes wherever you need them. (paid $328 total installed with large 3 1/2 inch chrome tips). I'm not sure about horsepower, but I find a much smoother accel rate, less hesitation, and better idle. Still need to check mileage. I also added an Airraid intake system, a quick easy bolt on.
