I was wanting to find out if the Kat box would work on my 98 neon R/T. I was thinking that it might because they are both dodge computers. don't want to sound cheap but would like to try it but if didn't work I was wondering if I could send it backor not. If it worked I know I could send alot of people your way. I am a member of Texas Area Neon Association and alot of our members are looking for a way to run the header for our cars without having to rig up a cat to keep the check engine light from coming on and droping 15 horsepower. Please let me know.

If that doesn't work AFX sells a race controller that eliminates the down steam o2 sensor.

already have the mopar perf comp don't want the afx. Don't see the point of advancing the timing so far you need cams to make the timing useful. Besides the neon dohc motor starts droping off at 65-6800 rpm no need for the 8000 rpm rev limit. The mopar one is set at 7450. One of the other neons in the group has all the same mods as I have except that he has the afx comp and he has yet to beat me without nos. And then there is the price difference the mopar comp cost me $200 no core the afx race is $390 plus core.

On the KatBox for the Neon...haven't tried/tested it on that vehicle. I honestly don't know. (I'd assume that Dodge is using the same rear-ward O2 sensor and voltage which "should" work with the KatBox...but again, I haven't tested it on a Neon.)
