Subject: Venom VCN-400 anyone have one? IP: Logged
Message: I was curious about the Venom-400 box.Apparently it is some kind of power boosting electronic box that connects between the throttle position sensor and the MAP sensor. They claim power gains up to 25%.They also claim that you can use them with a chip since the chips only work at W.O.T. anbd their product works from off idle up to WOT. It's $299 from Summit Racing. If any one has one installed I would be intrested in hearing their experiances.
Dave.

Message: Don't know of anyone with one on a dakota, but one of my friends had one, It didnt do a thing on his firebird. When he dynoed it, horsepower and torque actually went down.
