Message: If I were you, I wouldn't waste my time w/ the Stage I. If you don't want to pay for higher octane, just get the IAT Adjuster from Bernd at www.speedtweaks.net. You can't go wrong for $35+shipping.

I have both a Jet Stage 1 and Stage 2. The Stage 1 really worked well and made my 5.9 run better on regular than 93 Octane.
After I added headers, 180, pulleys and TB, etc, I installed the Stage 2. I don't know that I could tell a lot of difference between it and a Stage 1 except that I do need to use 93 Octane gas. I am going to re install the Stage 1 next week and see how it compares.
I would be willing to let you borrow my Stage 2 while I am using the Stage 1 and maybe then vice versa. -

Message: I would love to try out your chip sometime. I will send you a fax today with my company info and some info about the car I'm selling. I still have your business card.
So your stage I chip ran O.K. with regular gas? Did it change the shift points and remove the speed limiter?

The guy in my office that was looking for a car bought a new (used) car this week.
The Jet Chip really improved performance and likely changed shift points. Very noticeable difference. I sure the R/T will respond much better than my QC.
I have not tested to see if the speed limiter has been removed. My limiter is set at 110-112 MPH and I have not had the inclination to go faster than that. I guess I should just to see if the limiter has been removed.
I will get my Stage 1 back from a guy who's borrowing it. He's a service advisor at Allen Samuels Dodge. I let him use the Jet Chip and he loves it and wants to buy it. He has a 4.7 and is very impressed with the performance and MPG increase.
I should get it back next week and will swap it out in my truck for the Stage 2. I want to see how the Stage 1 works in my truck with my recent mods.
You can use the Stage 2 for a while and then latter try out the Stage 1.
Maybe, if everything works out, we can meet up at the Woodlands Pier 1 parking lot next Saturday.

Message: just buy a Mopar performance PCM, that jet chip works like 50% of the time and is just a plug in module. Replace the whole computer for around 300.00 from mopar performance. Changes the rev limiter to 6,000 shift at about 5700. You need to run premium fuel, but it is cheap now so that really should not matter. Definitly a better investment that a jet module.

Message: Well I guess ill find out soon enough but I bought a gforce
chip that should be here in a few days for my stocker 89
bronco2 and shortly will be getting the cold air intake with
the k&n ofcorse. I have been reading a lot about this chip
and all I am hearing are dissapointing things but only from
people who won't buy it because they seem to know
better..could they be biased against the search for easy
power upgrades or are these thing as big of a scam as they
sound...? Oh yeah its a 2.9 with about 100k on it and runs
strong but......sssllooww....but within a year from now there
will be a 302 sittin were the 2.9 is......hopfully
