does the 5.2 liter intake at 360airintakes.com also fit the 3.9? Does anyone have the same intake on their 3.9? how is it? Is it difficult to make the 5.2 intake fit the 3.9? Is this a good first mod on my 00' dakota rc? too many q's lol

Apparently intakes for the 5.9 & 5.2 will also fit the 3.9. I'm waiting for delivery of a Quick D, which is very similar. I've heard good things about the 360, if you do a search on this site, some postings should come up with info.

I have a 360 intake on my 5.2L and I just love it... it's a quality piece in my opinion...
I would assume it could fit a 3.9, however why don't you just email Joe from that site and he can answer all your questions.

3.9L and 5.2L are the indentical engine (front two cylinders are chopped off from the 5.2L to make the 3.9L).
As for the intake, it all depends on how they bend it...but they are interchangeable.
