Does anybody out there know how to check and adjust the ignition timing on my 94 5.2L Dakota? Mine failed it's smog inspection on NOx and I want to retard the timing a little. Thanks.

yeah, I tried that. EGR holds vacume, stalls engine if I put vacume to it (opening), line to EGR has vacume. Installed new everything and truck runs good, gets 17-18 MPG.
