I'm looking at buying either a hughs engine throttle body ($165) or quick d throttle body ($250) for my 98 V6 and wondering if anyone has experience with the Hughs?? So far it seems the QuickD's are good quality but for 85 bucks cheaper is the Hughs TB comparative?? THX

Hughes and QuickD are basically the same. Hughes does a little bit more to them though. Tony (QuickD) has been having some problems with shipping so it may take a lot longer than normal to get one of his.
If you want to save a little bit of money, grab a V8 throttle body...your factory one is a 42mm and the factory V8 ones are a 48mm. They wake up the V6 as is...for about $150.

I found a 318 throttle body from a 95 dodge ram in a scrap yard paid 50 bucks canadian ;Will try to install it on sat or sunday ;it came with all the good stuf sensors linkage and dirt
