Message: Ok everyone,
I need some muffler advice. I have a split exhaust duals with the 4.7L and glasspack. I am sick of it. I thik it soulds sh;tty, as does most people.
Thinking of going to a Flowmaster Series 70 to regain some backpressure, restore power, drop sound in-cab noise, and quiet overall performance.
Is the Series 70 the proper choice? It seems like it after reviewing some resources, but I need expert advice.
What do you say?

Message: Hey Josh, I'm pretty sure the 70 Series would be the one you want. My buddy has a V6 Mustang with a 70 Series on it. It sounds real good, yet it's not too loud. Personally, I like em loud. But if you want a mild, powerful, disinct tone, then the 70 Series is probably what you need.

Message: Josh, I installed a Flowmaster 50 Series SUV Performance muffler with pipes exiting on each side in the stock location a couple of weeks ago. It sounds great to me and looks like it came from the factory this way. You can hear the rumble in the cab up to about 60 mph but it is not annoying and actually what I was after. It's kond of a "mellow" sound like they say on theie website. I have a 40 series on my Jeep CJ-7 and felt that would be too loud for me on the quad cab.

Message: I have a 95 two door sonoma with a eight foot bed and i want to make it sound nice. I was thinking about getting one of those glasspacks like the flowtech or the purple hornies but after hearing what people have said i am not sure. Can someone help me? How long do the glasspacks last?

Message: I just put a Dynomax on my Dakota, it sounds a little too free flowing for my tastes now. But it's better than stock.

Message: I have a Magnaflow now, and have had Flowmasters in the past. The Magnaflow is much better for sound, not being too loud, less resonance in the cab, and performance. This is my opinion, hope it helps.

Message: Hows the power after you put the Magnaflow on? Increase, Decrease, Can't tell a difference? I was looking @ them a while ago but now it seams that everyone is haven't problems w/ loosing power after putting on a aftermarket exhaust.
