Message:
Follow the upper radiator hose towards the block. At the end (down past the A/C and Alternator bracket) is the T'Stat housing.
You'll need a 12" extension to get down there.

Message: Would be a good idea to drain the rad. The drain is on the drivers side lower corner of the rad.

Message: yep spings to the bottom. You may just have had air trapped in there. On the right hand side there is a heater hose with a coupler in it about mid way on the passenger vave cover. Split the hose there and put both end above the level of the rad cap and refill the system this should get rid of any trapped air in the cooling system. Good luck.
