do you want my definition of the mods to my truck or the 'ls1' version of what ive done to my truck...here is the latter..
k & n drop in filter - supercharger with 3 lbs of boost.
trans fluid flush/fill - SERIOUS TRANS WORK, MAN
oil change - lots of internal sh1t.
several yellow tuner stickers - one of a kind graphics.
running carb cleaner thru his intake - "on spray"
ls1- a 1/4 mile track somewhere in the geographical center area between your hometown and my hometown. us41 would be ideal for me..

national trails raceway is ieal for me.on rt 70e in hebron oh.30 mi east of columbus.probly not good for you though.and i like ether instead of carb cleaner.

When I was running my week cummins at the track in West Palm I saw an Extreme run a 16.2. I didn't talk to the kid he was upset. I thought it was a cool looking truck, just needs a small block in it.

I`m not driving all the way out to Ohio. I`ll maybe goto US41 and thats still a cruise for me.

You should be able to get a little than 6 mpg with an LS1 unless you got a big block and a wicked cam. And what you need $5 / gal race gas for ? I think youre full of bologney.
What did the LS1 come out of ? What year S-10 is it ?

the s-10 dosen't have ls1 it has a 350 4 bolt in it that i built.i have a ls1 trans am also.the trans am acuatly gets about 25 mpg.it's a 86 s-10 and high compression ratio.it hardly runs on sunco 94 octane.

actually, you are right. I DO NOT OWN AN LS1 CAR. (but neither do you, so its ok.) 2 of my best friends have 00 and 01 trans ams. they (with automatics) average about 25-29 on the highway. i guess you havent learned the art of ROUNDING. example-
ls1 and dumd ass have 300 working brain cells left between them. they both collectively use 99 of them. i would say you use about 1/3 of your brain cells, instead of saying 33.3%, or even better, the absolute solution, which i am not bored enough to work out.
ps..i think dumd ass and ls1 are the same kid.

I don't have an ls1 but i have heard a lot of people with the ls1's claim to get around 30mpg on the highway, especially with a 6-speed tranny. Are they full of sh1t? I don't know but i figure theres gotta be some truth to it. Anyways thats just my 2 cents.
