I'm not yelling at you, Doc Q. I'm yelling at the rest of these weenies that want to go out for their first ever drag race (on some highway where there's nobody to witness or officiate) and what do they do? They want to bet their pink slip that they can beat a 1993 Silverado with the old non-Vortec 350 engine and some 44" mud tires (oh wait- it does have the new k&n drop-in) and so they post here to "find out" who's gonna win. WaaaahWaaah. Get the hell off your couch and go race. If you don't want to race for pinks, dont' go out for pinks. If you wonder who's gonna win, go watch that guy race somebody else before your race. If you think you're quicker than that jerky in his 5.9L R/T, then go find out. Who cares what the magazines say? Who cares what the factory window sticker says? I've got a 4.7 and I've beat R/T's plenty. But that's because the drivers sucked. They had no idea what they were doing, and so I crossed the line first. Maybe they're faster, but it's who crosses the line first. You will never find out what your truck can do if you don't go RACE!!!
it's that easy. Okay, I'm done. If the four horsemen don't wipe me out at the next traffic lite, I'll see you at the track, dammit.

I thought a tortise was on land and a turtle was in the water. Anyway you slice it a 4.7 and a turtle underwater would be a good race! You know in the Marines we had these snorkle kits for fording the jeeps. I know we get a supersized Z-tube use it as a snorkle!
