Thats my point Alex it takes a 4.7 to be turboC. and 10K later it can beat an Amazing all motor 3K job 5.9.. By 2 10ths of a second? Thats not enuogh for me, Then When you SC that 5.9 It would make dust of that wittle 4.7,

let me set this straight my cousin and i are in a club from ohio call team muscle trucks he just purchased a 98 ram sst and my friend has a 4.7 (LISTEN THERE IS NO WAY THAT A DOKOTA 4.7 IS GOING TO BEAT A RAM 5.9 I"VE SEEN IT WITH MY OWN EYES BOTH trucks bone STOCK END OF CONVERSATION).
I love the ram sst i would of got one to a couple of months ago but instead i got a smaller quicker more powerful generation one ford lightning its running 13.9's so even though my truck is not stock im not even completly finish with my project, my truck stock would beat both not opinion its a fact good with the sst down with the slowkota

one more thing look up the specs for both dodges and you'll see my point when i first got my 5.8L v-8 EFI OHV HO lightning i ran a 15 flat with just 2 flowmaster mufflers and cold air intake i love the ram sst the big 360 use your brains horsepower and torque to weight ratio to cubic inch the 4.7 is really out of competiton especially when the new 2004 srt 10 ram comes man thats one bad truck Viper powered, and please due read up on the new 550 horsepower ford lightning GOOD GREIF

hey smart guy the new lightning has nothing on the srt-10 ram. And it's not 550 horsepower it's only 430hp with a super cooler that gives you a 500 hp boost for 20 seconds and then it needs to fill the air chamber again. So do your research on things first. Also the 4.7 dak has been proven to smoke the r/t in the quarter mile so where do you get that the sst ram with the same engine and more weight is faster?

Sounds like a mad Ford guy who couldn't afford a real truck so he got a uni-body Ford truck! I mean come on, Ford ruined the Jaguars! Took out the huge-azz 8.5qt inline six airplane engines used in spitfires and replaced them with tiny pathetic V8s! Yeah, you get more low-end, but top-end on those old Jags is non-existant, which I know from a personal experience which dman-near made me wet my pants.

Funny thing is, 92-93 daks were the fastest stock daks produced(faster than the R/T, and 4.7). that's factual. So really, you guys are arguing over second place!
