Message: I sat in the new 2002 Quad Ram today, it is HUGE. White face gauges, electric seats, huge wheels (17" I think) with disc brakes all around. The front end is huge! Unfortunately that new billet grille is just chrome covered plastic though. We have a car dealer promotion on all week at the newspaper where I work... 3 acres of new vehicles are in our parking lot, it's kinda neat to check them out. Gonna test drive that Ram later today, hopefully I can see over the steering wheel. :)

Message: Oh yeah, I do! I'm the "wheels" person here at the paper (hilarious really as my mechanical knowledge is kinda zilch, but I'm pretty good with the creative aspect), I was jumping up & down in anticipation waiting for the thing to arrive. It's an impressive vehicle, no doubt about it. I'm a little person though, it just didn't seem a good fit. Some really nice options - like electric seats, power everything, apparently the strongest stock truck brakes available - disc all around. It was parked beside last year's 1500 Ram, and it dwarfed it.
But nothing compares to driving the Dak.

Message: I drove one that had 20" wheels and it was
very nice but huge. Front end kinda looks like
a Ford.

Message: The stock 2002 Ram 1/2 ton fits 33x12.50x17 muds on at factory height. Installed aftermarket wheels today on one and drove it. It drives better than previous models. This one had the 5.9 in it. Needs a little more power but it felt solid.

Message: Had to check them out for myself. It has the goods and the bads.
Goods :
white faces, stock 17-20 blades, largest disks on a 1/2 ton, rated to tow a house, Mercedes tail lights, Can live in the 4 door and deep bed.
better rack and pin.need a step to get in.
Bads: just open the hood. 1 tiny radiator for the truck, 1 tiny radiator for the trany I think. cab sits on top of the motor. need a step to
get in
I was there only about 5 min. so I did'nt have time to check out the muffer, pipe size, # of cats, dive shaft and frame. mby next time.

Message: Dark Fury - the one I was in was a sport, so the front end wasn't chromed, and had the billet insert. Somehow it looked more "big rig" when it was all one color like that. The one thing I really liked about it was the tie downs in the back, they resembled dock-tie ups for boats. The back seats fold down to provide more cargo space. Also, the sport badge was carbon-fibre, that stuff seems to be cropping up everywhere.
Now... how did you get the graphic to attach?

Message: half of the reason the grill is so big is because the bumper is low to the ground, I haven't yet seen a 2002 4x4 but the 4x2's bumper is bearly off of the ground
