 Subject: 4.7 vs. Golf Cart

WEll it was a really weird night on Saturday when I took out the 4.7. I was just getting home from the bars when I pulled up to a red light. To my surprise I was lined up against a Yamaha Golf cart. I scoped over it really good only to see NOS, Flowmaster, and holley stickers. Being the awesome 4.7 driver I am I look over at the unsuspecting cary driver as I rev my OHC 4.7 engine to a perfect note. The young buck golf cart driver turns to me with his open faced bell star helmet from 1972 and says "lets run." I am thinking "man I must have had to much to drink?" As the light turns green I hear the yamaha rev high, I almost can not believe it the little yamaha is taking me down. As I keep it pressed to the ground the cart has flames comming from the flowmaster exhaust! Making sure the flames don't hit the truck I go for the pass. At about 90 MPH I finally wizz by him. I've won!!! sweet.. I end up driving home only to wake up next to an unattracive woman "I think Beer goggles???" Anyway as I stuble to the kitchen I open up the paper only to see that some idiot in a 4.7 ran a dodge omni full of high school kids and didn't bother to help them after there motor blew. They waited 5 hrs for a tow. Hmmm that sux, well at least they didn't run into that damn golf cart I did last night. 4.7 4evr

A golf cart,man you pick some awfully easy prey! Well, don't really like to brag,but,I was down in Indiana not that long ago. While sitting at a light I heard this really strange high pitched noise. Looked out my side window and could not see a thing, but that noise was now right next to me. My eyes started to water and burn, like what methanol does to ya. OH NO!!! I had an INDY car sitting next to me, it was so low that I couldn't see him out my window. Well, I reved up my FOUR POINT SEVEN to the rev-limiter and threw her in drive,tires smoking so much I could just barely see his big'ol rear wing in my REARVIEW mirror. He even tried to draft me to get an edge, but he didn't stand a chance afterall, I had a 4.7! A golf cart....a golf cart,jeeezzzz.

GOOD HUMOR!
I was home for vacation and it seems that my old foot ball buddies have taken to...you guessed it.. Hopping up golf carts!! I'm not $hitting you! The put a four inch lift kit and these big mudder tires and go four wheeling in the danm things! I thought it was nuts til they took me for a ride then I thought it was really nuts! Boys with toys.

i would put my money on the cart. it like 500 pounds and has mucho HP. He was probly scared to go 90+ in a golf cart..

I have seen these lifted golf carts. Last time I went to Glammis (Huge sand dunes between Arizona and California) there was a guy in the camp next to us that had one with about a foot of lift and an 1100 CC CROTCH ROCKET MOTOR IN IT!!! You have never seen sand toys till you have been to Glammis
