About how long does it take for them to fix a catalatic converter? I took it up to the dealer today and when i pulled in, he knew exactally what was wrong because it's rattled sooooooooo much. He doesn't have the part so it will take some time to get it in. On a happier note, i just got a flowmaster 40 series added to my truck and it sounds so sweet.......

It only pays like .9 of a hour flat rate warranty. Should only take an hour to do from the time they start working on it.

i'm in the same situation dude, I'm getting a new cat put on my 97 V6 probably this Wednesday......I called a muffler guy about it and he said that the ones for my truck were about 200 and something dollars ....so i called the dealer and it was still under warranty so they are gonna fix it for free. mine is rattling pretty bad too, that's why I'm getting it fixed

mine took a day and a half. they didnt have the cat in stock and they had to take the truck some where to get it installed. i guess they dont do the welding at the dealer.
I got a TON of power back when i replaced it. it drives like a new truck now.
