Message: Remove air hat, remove the 4 bolts holding the fuel rails in place, pull up on the fuel rails and the injectors should pull right out of the manifold. There is a clip holding the injectors to the rail remove the clip and pull out the injector, but be carful there is 50 PSI of fuel pressure there. When you go to put the new ones in put a little engine oil on the orings and they will slide in easier.

Message: It is that easy? I have never changed fuel injectors, but if they are that easy to do I might get ready to change my stock ones out and put the 19# FMS Injectors in. I have another question when should you change your injectors and o2 sensors? (mileage)

Message: Thanks for the procedures CW.
Will gas spew all over the place when i pull them out? Is there a way to relieve the pressure?
I think O2 sensors are supposed to be replaced at around 50k....

Message: On my 93 5.2 there is a little port with a schrader valve type deal on the fuel rail with a cap on and you can releave pressure there.

Message: Yes, there is a schradar valve on the left hand fuel rail with a cap on it, just remove he cap and push the schradar vave down with a small screw driver. If you do this with the engine cold there will be very little fuel come out. If you change the injectors to FMS 19# let us know how well it works, wouldn't mind trying it myself.
