Who ever put that the dakota 4.7 shuts down at 98 mph is very wrong. The new 2003 one i have has not shut down at all yet and i had it up to the 120 over mark on tape to ocean city maryland. If so just cut into the vss sensor and turn if on and off like in the third gen camaros (used to have)

I have an "04 sport CC with the v8 and 3.92 rear end and when i took it out on the highway the puter shut down the engine around 98mph!!
Really sucks but i guess we're not suposed to be going that fast anyway :) Doesn't mean we shouldn't!

i got a 04 cc v8 with 3.92's lsd and 265/70r16 tires 4x4....i had mine up to 110 and was still going.....maybee it was 111 dont know i let off at 110....

My 02 4.7 5 speed went up to 120 in 4th and then shut down.
