Message: I ran it in mine, the gas and oil treatment but not the tranny treatment. Didn't notice a thing mileage or power, good or bad.

Message: Its better just to stay away from that stuff. The truck you drive was never designed for it so dont bother with it. Most of these companies get in trouble down to road for false claims.

Message: Guys, I tried Z-Max, Prolong, Motor-Up, etc... in my Durango and Dakota and have seen nothing of an improvement in anything. DON'T USE SLICK 50! When i switched to Mobil 1, I saw that my cold starting was much easier but nothing else helped mpg. I try to use Gas treatment every other tank to keep my injectors clean but I dont think it helps either.
Just change your oil and filter ever 3000 miles (if you use regular oil) and magical snake oils should be just that, crap...

Message: OK Rascal you got a deal. Im sorry to.
As for all of the additives. I belive the oil companies do all of the reasearch and put additive in there own oil and give you the best combo. Throughing the crap that is avalible in the stores probably does more damage. I know its somtimes so hard not to be pulled in with there commercials but just forget them.

Message: I stand with you there Mar. I have a friend that put DuraLube in his Olds 3.8 and then had a crank bearing failure! I dunno what the stuff is, but it sure did not give him any protection, only an expensive engine rebuild.

Message: all of em are crap except certain name brand fuel injection cleaners that go into the tank. if you are burning oil, or missing shifts or anything, just save your money for a new engine or trans. no amount of 'motor honey' is going to save it..might make the problem less obvious for awhile...just a temporary fix, if anything.
