What headers seem to work best ((all-round)) performance, access to spark plugs, and easy on plug wires. pick one JBA, Edelbrock, Mopar.

Message: I prefer the Kenne Bell headers. I have these on a 2000 Dakota, and I really like them. They are nickel chrome plated inside and out, and will not rust. They have a really thick mounting flange, and a special design in the collector that improves sound and performance. They really helped my power considerably, in the all rpm ranges, and they sound great, without making the truck too loud. I have these and a straight-thru muffler with stock cat and dual tailpipes and the truck sounds great. Awesome sound, not too loud. These headers come with a 2-1/2" mandrel y-pipe as well. They allow great clearance for everything (oil filter, plugs, wires, starter, etc.). I love them!!! The only downfall to these headers is the price, compared to JBA, Gibson, etc. In my opinion, you get what you pay for. These are a quality equal-length header, that will last. I believe they have a lifetime warranty, however, I can't remember for sure. The cost is somewhere between $700-800 for complete kit.

Message: I have the Gibson stainless headers on my 2001 5.9L. Good performance, easy plug access, good looking, quality headers with lifetime warranty.
About $360 (shipped) from truckperformance.com. If you call in, ask for Eric. He'll negotiate!!!
