Message: What is the best mod for low end? I would like a little more torque. It runs great on the top end but could use a little more out of the hole.
I have a 99cc R/T. Current mods include: K&N filter kit,( the one that keeps cracking), upgrade cap & rotor, plug wires, cooler plugs.
Where can I go from here for more out-of-the-hole power?

Message: The Mopar Performance PCM is going to be the best mod for increasing your low end. It will also be great for the top end too. A 180 degree thermostat may help keep the engine in a better operating range for throttle response. A set of aftermarket underdrive pullies will also improve the low end power. Another is an electric fan. I guess it all depends on how much money you want to spend for the upgrade.
You also might be suprised at how much the off-idle throttle response is influenced by the plug temperature. It's been my experience that cooler plugs offered poorer throttle response and torque in the lower rpm ranges. I would only recommend the cooler plugs if you are having a detonation problem or are running a power adder.
