Lets not forget folks that the 4.7HO requires 91 octane. I dont know about you but around here 91 octane goes for about $1.85 a gallon. Just hold out for the Hemi which uses 87 octane and has 345 hp.

So, you actually pulled up a post that's almost a year old to warn us about a Jeep motor that requires premium gas? That thread is just about OUT OF DATE, there, bub.

Hell, almost a third of us are running custom computer flashes that require us to run premium gas, anyhow. And that Hemi's not gonna show up in anything but the 2500 Ram for at least another 2 years. I'll spend $1.47 a gallon to keep driving for that 2 year period.

So, what are you going to be driving til the Hemi comes out?

I figured out a great way to avoid the high dollar gas.. just add 2 shots of Everclear into every tank of gas and it works perfect. I could'nt believe how powerful the engine was. And I can buy 87 octane all day long, Just keep the bottle behind the seat. Its great!

it works better if you drink the everclear shots
first, then piss in your gas tank later...makes it
at least 100 octane.
