Has anyone here bought replica RT or other wheels. They have a plain center cap so I was wondering if the color matches good enough to put the stock Dodge center caps on them. Is the quality good? I found silver RT wheels for $489 and chrome for around 8 or 900 but I don't want chrome. I also found somewhere one time that made polished aluminum replica wheels. That would be sweet. Any info would be great!

Go to ebay and search under "Dodge Dakota Wheels". The replica companies all sell there. They have a "buy now" function but the lowest bid is $489 and alot of times they have no bids even at the end of the auction. Even if they do, no higher than $599! I emailed one of the companies that sells them and they said the Dodge center caps are interchangeable.

My local Dodge dealer offered me a set of 4 brand new R/T wheels with center caps for $500. There is no shipping involved with that price. The list price on them is only $160 each so that was like a 20% discount. This was when I was going to buy a sport. I ended up getting an R/T so I never got them. I have posted this before, they used to be much more expensive (like $350 each) when they were listed as R/T replacement wheels (like for accident damage and an insurance company is paying for them) now they are the Mopar Accessory 17" Dakota/Durango wheel. Make sure your parts guy looks them up in the accessory catalog not the replacement catalog. Funny thing now is to get the new 16" wheel you have to pay $350 each and the R/T's 17" wheel is only $160 tops.

Just for kicks I called the dealer to see what they would say $539 a rim but the center caps are 26.50 He said if I buy the other rims he would order the center cap to see how close they match

Sounds like some of the dealers don't know what their doing when they look up these wheels!
