its still gonna be slow, I'd sell the blower and upgrade to a magnum top end and you will be much happier.

I'm really not worried about it being that fast since it's a convertible. I've seen a few other convertible Dakotas, but I've never seen another super-charged Dakota Covertible ;-)

I know this is very old. but I have had 4 Daks one V6 and 3 V8 all were 4X4 standard Cabs.
But Guys and gals when they came out with the 3.9 @190 HP you all had to agree they were underpowered and got very bad gas milage. The Next two had the 5.2 which was a midle of the road performer but with a few $ spent here and there a quick 4X4 .. I went to get my last 4X4 and I wanted the 5.9 but I was told the bad news not offered in my truck,but the 4.7 is.. I said hell my Laun mower has a biger motor than 4.7 But at this time the Germans had joined up with Dodge and they knew how to make HP so I got one. I now love it the best little V-8 I have had in a truck. but lacked the TQ I wanted so I installed a KB TS7000 Blower on it now the TQ curve goes up at 2000 and stays there . I love it ..
