 Subject: shifting problems

in my 00' 3.9L CC auto.i've noticed that it drops 2,000 rpm between 2nd & 3rd when i take off & i loose almost all of my power.i turned the o/d off & that helped a little but my rpms still drop alot.has anyone else noticed this? is there any way to fix this? any info is greatly appreciated.

I have a 00,cc,3.9, and I don't have second gear unless I reset the computer every month. It is in third gear at 15 mph. This is with the new and improved pcm program by Chrysler. Guess you're like me and stuck with it.

I can pull it down manually. The truck can't stay with normal traffic unless I shift the thing like a standard. It will get second if I put it on the floor otherwise.....
