my 00' 3.9L CC automatic trans. has stalled out 2 times. once when i was driving down the road and once when i was at idle. i've also noticed that it has a very rough idle & it jumps just a little, but when i rev it up it smooths out. anyone else have this problem or any info on it.
thanks

Yah I have the same problem with my 97 3.9L. They have cleaned the throttle body that seamed to help. Then they did a software upgrade that worked for a while. I just noticed it starting to act up again.

I can actually make mine stall by tapping the gas while it is in park. Other than that I don't have a problem with it stalling out, rough idle though, it is even worse when it is cold outside and I go to start it up. The whole truck shakes though with my exhaust it sounds like a big block in it.

The '00 3.9L have a flash on the pcm to deal with an idle control problem, see your dealer, if ya got less than 35k should be free, the 3.9 also has a little problem with a leaking intake manifold that can cause some interesting problems

good luck
