Throttle response seems a little slow to me. About 1 out of every 4 times I gun it off the line it rolls on the power like my recently traded in Corolla. Also when I'm doin 40 or 50mph and I feel like jumping to 70, I mash it, the auto pops out of OD and takes for ever to get back into a gear. I've only put 150 miles on it... Should I expect these issues to go away?

As the engine breaks in and the computer learns your driving style, those problems should go away. When new, my 4.7 felt strong but it was absolutely impossible to spin the tires from a dead stop. Now (16,000 miles) I can spin them almost at will, and it feels much stronger...this despite the addition of a shell over the bed. My transmission also seems to shift much quicker now than it did when new, although I now feel most gear changes (not harsh at all, I just feel the gear changes). When new I couldn't feel any of the gear changes. Depending on your rear end gears, dropping out of OD at 50mph might not go away...mine still unlocks the converter at the slightest provocation at anything under 60mph. It stays in OD unless I punch it hard, but the converter unlocks VERY easily and quickly, and it does stay unlocked until the computer is convinced that I just want to cruise. I prefer that because most vehicles have crappy throttle response and feel really sluggish when the converter is locked up.
