Subject: Losing tenths IP: Logged
Message: Check out the October 2001 issue of "SPORT TRUCK" magizine.
They take a stock quad cab and benchmark it on the track... then procede to add some aftermarket goodies and then have trouble keeping the tires from burning when they revisit the track :-)

Message: I read that article. I can only say, they need a whole new Dakota. Something is wrong if they installed the Volant tube and a new PCM flash and that's all they got. My 4.7 5-spd with 3.55's (with me in it) weighs the same as their quad cab, and I'm hitting 15.4's stock. That's pretty slow by itself. But, 16.30's? Come on! Maybe the dragstrip they're at is at a high elevation or something. Hmmmm......
