Ever since I installed the MP Cam and Rockers, I have a funky problem going on. I'm gaining a quart of oil about every 2 weeks. Well, the oil level keeps going up anyway. The Dealer pressure checked the cooling system and it's fine. The oil looks normal, but smells strong of gas. Thought that the broken rocker stud had something to do with it, but that's fixed and the oil's still rising. I can tell it's thinning out because the rockers start getting noisy.

So far, the Dealer has been changing the oil under warranty, but that's not fixing the problem.

Any ideas?

Well, since there is no manual fuel pump bolted to the block that can bust and leak, it can only be running way too rich.
Don't run it that way or it will be short lived.

Been searching various truck-related message boards on the web and it seems the most typical cause of this problem is a malfunctioning fuel injector (sticking open or an electrical short that's keeping it open). Seems like the PCM would throw a code on something like that…

Getting extra gas to the crank case is not an easy thing to do in an injected motor. I'd start with reading the plugs and a compression test. You should find an indication quickly.
The last motor I came across picking up that much crankcase volume that quickly had dropped an intake valve and grenaded a piston. The big end of the rod was still connected to the crank so there was no oil pressure loss. The owner described a noise that went away after a few miles. He brought it to me a week later still running. We found an extra bolt in the crankcase with the valve and piston chunks.

I saw one at my dealer about two years ago doing the same thing. They said there was a problem with the intake manifold having a hole in it directly below the injector. It was literally spraying the gas into the oil. This was on a new truck. Could you have damaged the intake gasket when it was put back together? I would get that fixed quickly.
