Message: I am sorry to say that my 95 Dak (5.2L) is in the shop and the crew is blaming my Jacobs for my problems and they must replace plugs, wires, cap, and rotor. They say dont use after market stuff like this. I think they are blowing smoke up my tailpipe....
I called Dodge and they say they have not heard this and used the old standby that the owner's manual says dont do any aftermarket becasue you may have problems and end your warrenty.
Has anyone heard of such things?

Message: sounds like an excuse for not finding the REAL problem. I've had this type of experience before with similar situations. Try another shop.

Message: Tyler is right, they need to find the REAL problem. Cap/plugs/wires?? Puuuuuleezzzee!!
Thats basic tuneup 101. Jacobs Ignitions cant cause a problem with that stuff. I have one and its worked perfect for me for the past 3yrs. Find a good mechanic.....not a dealership wienie.
