Hey guys I just got back from Gainesville Raceway running my 2000 Rc dakota with the 3.9L v6 in it. I can't say I was inpressed with my times though. I ran at over half a tank of gas :( and in like 88 degree temps.
My best run was 17.290@74.05mph
I hope to improve on this alot

That's about what my '97 CC did (17.4) when it was bone stock. It's at 15.7 now and soon to be getting even quicker.
There's plenty to do on the V6's and not a whole lot to get them into the mid to low 16's.

Yeah I have a Melotone muffler, Airraid intake, JBA powercables, Autolite 3923s, and a 180 Tstat
So I thought I would be at least 16.9, but maybe it was the heat and extra gas.

Ran 14.727 00 rc r/t 60 ft 2.1 w/4600 miles
only mod is the mopar cold air FIPK
I'm at sea level and this was in april 01
2000 rebate on the all dodge dakota
You could pick up a brand new non loaded r/t for well under 19,000 that is alot of bang for the buck.
My truck has 9600k and seems to rum better now than ever

Man I would love to have an r/t. But I am 19 so my insurance would be a little high :( I hate being a teenager guy they rape you with insurance.
TheUFO1, I do not live in Gainesville but about 40 minutes away in Orange Park, I went for the open "Test and Tune" night and there was only one other Dak their he was a RC 4.7L that was running 15.6s and so on.

Jacob, I just bought I reg cab 4.7 w/5spd, and I'm only 18. My insurance isn't that bad like 200 a month.
