Message: Maybe I'm just an idiot, but I can't find the thermostat on my '01 4.7L. I bought some autolite's(that was a pain in the a$$ to install), and a Robert Shaw Therm. But for the life of me I can't find the darn thing on the engine. Is it in the radiator hose, in front of the water pump under the alt., or somewhere under the radiator. Please help!!!
Message: If you are looking at the engine from the front.....it's just to the left of the bottom crankshaft pulley. Or....cut and paste the following address into your browser and look at the picture describing where it is.
