sorry for sounding dumb, but I have heard a lot about people resetting their pcms after doing a mod or two. Where is the pcm and how do I reset it?
2001 4x4 4.7 5 speed

Not a dumb question. We all have to start somewhere. The PCM on my '99 5.2 is on the passenger side fenderwell. I don't know where they put them on the 4.7. Again, for the 5.2 you remove a wire from the battery and turn the key on for a few minutes. Turn the key back off and hook up the battery. PCM is reset. I suppose the same procedure would work for the 4.7.
