My 3.73's for my 97 finally came in. The only problem is, the ones for my rear axle are for Chevy 8.25", will these work in my rear end? I really hope so, becuase I need to get them installed quick, the rear sounds more terrifying each day...

Who did you order them from. I would call them back and just ask them to make sure. Sometimes things are interchangeable and are just marked for one or the other, but it wont hurt just to chaeck to be safe.

I called them back after I got a hold of my local 4x4 shop. The gears will not work, one, they're totally different carriers and patterns, and 2, the Gm's are reverse rotation.
I got them from Randy's R&P, the sales guy was very helpful and got the manager right away. My correct parts are on the way. I should be happy here in a few days...
