Message: What year truck and what engine? I've never heard of this before. You may need to reset computer if it is a late model truck.
Someone else may have to step in here and help.

Message: There could be a leak in the system which would definitly do that.

Message: I replaced my stock cat with a high flow 3" cat, and what happened is I lost some back pressure... and with that, I lost some torque. I also ran just a little slower at the track, about a tenth slower. (I have a 99 R/T CC)

Message: Did you remove the cat altogether? Many of the engine management systems on newer vehicles today require a certain amount of backpressure in the exhaust system. If the cat were to be removed and the backpressure changed, it would cause a drop in performance.
