You can go down to auto zone and grab a 180 degree thermostat right off the rack. It will say 180 and have the degree symbol. Robert shaw is pretty common brand. The Chevy small blocks and big blocks all use the same thermostats. Becareful if your truck is driven short distances in the winter with a 180 degree thermostat as your vechile may not reach operateing temp.

It's been a while but from what I remember (used to have a 396 in my old Camaro) it was a 330 series.
