Message: Doing the heads on our 1999 5.2 Dakota Sport 4WD. Looking at doing headers and it needs a new Y-pipe. Considering the Gibson headers and the JBA Y-pipe. Has anyone done this combination or have any other suggestions? Just bought truck and it has a Gibson cat back exhaust. Also saw Doug Thorley Headers with a 2 piece y-pipe that looked interesting since I could not get the old y-pipe out without cutting it in half or pulling the front drive shaft.
