Subject: 5.2L Power Upgrades IP: Logged
Message: Hey guys I'm new to this forum and have already read a ton of good info relating to lifts and tires. I now have my 97 4x4 lifted and now im looking for a little more power. I have my exhaust done and was thinking or doing an intake or superchip next. I am just wondering if anyone has any suggestions or other info. Thanks a bunch!

Message: It's a bit pricy for both diffs with 4x4, but most who lift go with bigger tires so perhaps the best mod for more power is lower gearing. Think 4.10 or 4.56 for best results with that set up.

Message: I considered it but i dont think its really needed for my tire size (32x11.5r15) and i am forced to do a lot of highway driving. I was thinking something more for engine power.

Message: This is a good plan to follow. These guys at Huges are the best at
making power out of stock equipment.
