whats would be a good camshaft to stick in the 4.7 engine here. im thinking the 206 or the 212? just not sure what would be best. i have a 2003 4x4 automatic 4.7 dak.

Jesse, a couple of things come into play when deciding on a camshaft/ camshafts.
You want something that will enhance and work well with your current drivetrain. i.e. gearing, trans, other engine mods, etc. What is the truck/vehicles intended use? Towing, racing, commuter, etc.

If plan on other mods like a programmer or headers, take those into consideration in making your choice. I've seen guys on here running bothof thsoe cams but with different results. With just a stock motor and nothing else you'd probably want to go with the 206. But as I mentioned earlier, contact the guys at KRC. I'm sure they'll be more than happy to help.

If you want REAL cams for your 4.7L then you need to contact COMP CAMS right now!!! They are currently looking at the 4.7l engine and have not yet decided if the demand is there... So if you want cams, contact Comp Cams and let them know. If you visit our website at www.AIRRAM.com you will find a direct link to our push/request to Comp Cams. Just follow that link and let Comp Cams know that you want cams. Also while your there check out our 4.7L Performance section. We live breath and bleed 4.7L performnace.
Currently there are NO H/O cam cores available. All regrinds are based of H/O cores. The H/O cam cores have been on NATIONAL BACK ORDER for over 6 months with no sign of them being released. Without H/O cams there can be no reginds... this means no 206's, 212, 218s, and so on.
BUT in my opinion, the H/O cams where better then my 212's!
