A LITTLE
Then I dynoed it, on every setting, with 2 different grades of gas VS non superchips.
Gains in a nutshell were:
87 octane- +4hp/tq
towing- 93octane- +6hp/tq
perf. 93octane- +8hptq
I've seen others dynoes with an stock, auto, he maxed at +13 hp/tq over no SC's.
01 SLT QC, two tone paint,
OEM fender flares
Cab high Leer cap w/ double slider window,
Infinity sound,
Tire and handling pack,
R/T sway bars
Trailer towing pack,
3.92 LSD rear end, 2WD
Ransho RSX shocks
4.7 manual,
HO cams,
HO intake,
Ported the stock 68mm TB,
Homebrew 'true' CAI, w/ K&N
No belt driven clutch or cooling fan
No third cat.
SuperChips Tuner
Max dyno, NO short belts, etc.
227 RW HP
300 RW TQ
Drive it like its paid for!

Message: Super Chips is the way to go. very noticable performance gains. Not only do you get increases in hp but it also changes the shiftpoints in tha automatic, and if you change tire size it can recalibrate your speedo. I do not think the jetchips does that. Texas todd, what were the gains on 91 octane?

Haven't really looked in awhile, as I nearly always run 87.
