A guy i work with was at an auto parts store yesterday and he came back with a brochure for the latest and greatest in spark plug technology, its called the "Pulstar" pulse plug with a plasma like spark that is stored in the plug like a capacitor. they say they tested it in a nissan 350Z and gained 11 horses, has anyone in the great beyond tried these plugs or heard anything good, bad, or other than what the brochure says??

I personally have Bosch platinum 4 in my rig i was just interested to see what people know about this new plug, Radioman said they cost 70.00 for two and dont have a very good success rate. But the brochure for the pulstars makes them look pretty cool.No i have never heard of Nology Hotwires with Beru silverstone plugs, why you got them? they good? i gotta go get one more smog pre-test this sat to see if i need a new catalytic converter, or if something else is wrong but i just cant seem to pass the smog test this year.

Bucket,

I have a friend who had the Pulstar them in a Mercury with the 5.0 liter v8. His mileage according to him increased from 15 to 18 mpg--a 20 percent gain. The plugs cost 25.00 each. After reading all the information on them, it sound like your adding an MSD ignition.

I took the fouled, original plugs out of my 1950 Dodge Meadowbrook and changed them to new FluxCapacitance plugs, and gained 80% on my gas mileage!
