Subject: Turbo Install IP: Logged
Message: Does anybody out there have a working turbo installation on an R/T (Dakota). I was going to adapt a SN-93 Paxton setup (kit) from a 92-96 Dakota to fit my 2000 R/T, but before I installed it, I purchased a T-70 turbo that I'd rather use. I was thinking of using the paxta-map controller, or getting a split second FTC1. I already have an Accell 300+ ignition system with a 375+ controller to compensate for timing. The fuel delivery is the part I'm trying to work out (speed density!! wish it was MAF). Any pointers in the right direction would be appreciated.

Message: depends on how much boost you want to run. i have an 360 in my ram i turboed. originally was 318.
i have 24lb injectors,10:1 fmu, booster pump, mds btm for timing,a checkvalve for the map, along with resister stuff,on map.
drives great,no problems with transitioning from vac to boost. any questions search for a guy that goes by duner. he has an r/t with stock short block runs low 11's all day long, also has an 4.7 5speed ran 12's. motor on that was stock also
