Subject: Tranny problem IP: Logged
Message: Hey guys I have a 2002 Quad cab Dakota with a 4.7 and it has the automatic tranny with overdrive... I was towing 2 snowmobiles over the weekend and on our way home from Deadwood S.D. back to Minnesota it started to act funny. It would sometimes constantly go up & down in RPM especially if you hit even the slightest little bump in the road. Then when you shut the O.D. off it would go into OD, and when you would turn O.D. on it would not drop past 2500 RPM. ( it was doing opposite of what it should be) I was told there is a sensor or plug connector on the side of the tranny that may have become loose or just wiggly on the connection. Any ideas or help would be great.

Message: I was towing in OD, I was just doing it to check how it acted. I am getting 3 DTC's P201 P206 P121, the 202&206 are injector control circuit which I dont know what that means. The 121 is TPS not agreeing with MAP... Any ideas???? Thanks
