so i see a few places on this message board where people seem to have been able to disable they're rev limiter/govenor on their cars by usingn some kind of ignition trick...? Just curious about what this is beacuse ive never heard of it before.

Actually, on their Dakota trucks - been posted many times. Might well work on DC cars too, but I've never seen that posted. Since you've already read about it, what part has you confused ?

Rev limiter?
I think it was the Speed limiter.
Many Daks had a 99mph limiter.
Unless you've re-cammed, their is NO usable HP or torque above the current revlimiter on a 4.7.

The thought of someone driving down the highway at 100 + mph with one hand on the wheel and the other holding the key is just a little unnerving to me.
