Subject: 4cyl idle problem.. IP: Logged
Message: As said in the title, my 2.5 is having trouble idling. Sometimes it idle's at 1500rpms, and other times it idles at 500rpms. It no longer idle's right below 1000 like it should. At 1500, its not that bad, but when it drops down to 500, the whole truck shakes and rattles. We already replaced the idle control valve, and that didnt do it..any idea's?

Message: Have you thoroughly cleaned the throttle body, especially the idle air passage? The TPS might be bad.
