Message: the stock 50mm is actually 48mm because of the torque step. but yes, if you're looking at an aftermarket TB don't go larger than 48mm on a stock v6.

Message: A torque step is a bump on the inside of the TB that restricts the size slightly. A common mod is to dremmel it out for more flow.

Message: ok so if you buy a throttle body get a 50mm cause it is really or 48mm or just get the 48mm? How much would it cost to get the stock throttle body machined?

Message: if you are buying an "aftermarket"(something manufactured by anybody but Dodge) go 48mm. if you buy a stock(maunfactured by Dodge), just buy a v8 TB and do NOT mod it.
