Subject: Rear sway bar for sale IP: Logged
Message: Its for the 97-04 daks. Its the BIG 22mm. Its bigger than the Hotchkis I just bought which is 19mm. I've got energy suspension axle clamps and bushings as well as the dog bone end links to go with it. Really improved my handling ability. I'll sell it all for $125+shipping. Any takers?

Message: For anybody considering this mod... It'll make a huge improvement in your Dak's handling. Well worth the (little) effort required.

Message: Yeah. You will need to fabricate an axle tube bracket using 3" muffler clamps. See this photo for what it looks like. The holes are in the frame to mount the dog bone shaped end links. Just need some nuts/bolts/washers...

Message: Assuming this is the 9/16" rear swaybar I sold 1hotkadota a few months back...
It will bolt directly to your truck if you have the 9.25 rearend with the swaybar pads welded to the axel. Non-9.25 axle I don't know? The end links bolt to a few existing holes in the frame so you don't need to drill anything.. Pretty simple install.
And yes, it improved the handling and was was worth the $$$ I took it off my old CC Dak when I got rid of the truck.

Message: I've still got the bar that Modain sold me. I am selling the stock 22mm sway bar because it doesn't jive with my lowered suspension. Everytime I hit a bump the endlinks would hit my leafsprings so I had to get Modain's because it mounts to the frame from the bottom and not the side. Thanks again for the swaybar Modain. I frickin love that thing!
Do you want it Todd? If so I'll hold on to it for ya. I have a special way to mount the endlinks to the frame because mine didn't come with the frame mounts. I'll e-mail or post pics if you want.

Message: I meant its the bar that DSW sold me, not Modain. Sorry DSW! That bar rules! Thanks Modain for backing me up on the performance gains.
